Chelmsford Camera Club 5-Clubs Challenge
Ampthill & District Camera Club competed in the Challenge once again this year; it’s a different set of competing clubs from the usual, more local ones that we regularly come across and consisted of Benfleet, Brentwood, Chelmsford and Steyning camera clubs.
There are four sections to the Challenge, with each club entering 3 images into each of the 4 categories – creative, landscape, mono and wildlife. In 2021, Ampthill came fourth out of the 5 clubs but I’m pleased to report that this year we improved our position and came a creditable third – the only negative is that we were in the lead at the half-way point….!
The final scores and positions were as follows:
- 1 st Chelmsford – 214 pts
- 2 nd Benfleet – 207 pts
- 3 rd Ampthill – 202 pts
- 4 th Brentwood – 191 pts
- 5 th Steyning – 189 pts
My grateful thanks to those members whose images were entered, with particular thanks to Angela, whose image entitled “colour swirls” was awarded best overall image. Many congratulations, Angela!
