3-Way Interclub Competition 2023

This was held at Bedford Camera Club, Scott Lower School, Bedford, on Tuesday 7 March 2023

The annual competition between Bedford, Biggleswade and Ampthill camera clubs was hosted by Bedford this year. It was an opportunity to showcase some of our best prints and PDIs and to see the calibre of photography from other clubs and meet local photographers.

The competition consisted of two sections.  In the first each club entered 10 prints and, following a short interval, the second section followed on comprising 10 PDIs from each club.

The judge for the evening was Naomi Saul, ARPS EFIAP ASINWP DPAGB APAGB, who is well known to ADCC and throughout East Anglia, judging Club and Inter-Club Competitions and Exhibitions, as well as her involvement in the EAF Committee spanning many years and roles.

ADCC had a strong performance in the print section and was ahead going into the second half of the competition. As the PDI section of the competition progressed it became clear Biggleswade were making a very strong comeback.

Once the final scores for the print and PDI sections were totalled Biggleswade emerged as the winner with 362 points, Bedford came second (350 points) and ADCC third (347 points).
