Competition Brief:

Open | Colour or monochrome

Any animal or group of animals. Subjects may be photographed in the wild or in controlled conditions such as zoos, wildlife parks, farms, aquariums, aviaries, butterfly houses or botanical gardens. Scientific bands, tags or radio collars on wild animals are permitted.

Images may be processed using conventional photographic adjustments (e.g. exposure, white balance, contrast, colour, sharpening, noise reduction, cropping, dust spotting and similar techniques) provided the final image remains a truthful representation of the original scene.

Composite images, focus stacking and panoramic stitching are permitted only where they do not alter the factual content of the scene.
